Iran's Intelligence minister's irony on ISIS threats against Tehran

The minister who was talking to reporters after a cabinet session in Tehran on Wednesday ironically said, 'The terrorist group, which is losing its headquarters in Mosul, thinks of capturing Tehran!'

ISIS elements have recently reiterated their threats to attack Iranian cities including the capital, Tehran.

Despite ISIS and other Takfiri groups’ efforts to penetrate Iran’s territory, they failed to do so and due to security forces’ vigilance, they have not been able to realize their plots.

Iran’s Intelligence Ministry has arrested several ISIS elements and they have confessed that they have been ordered and supported by certain regional and international powers to carry out acts of sabotage.
